"I do not pray that You should take then out of the world, but that You should keep then from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world...as You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world."      ~Jesus in John 17

I must remind myself of these words. As frustrated as I am over the sins of this world, as much as I long for heaven and the rapture, this is where I'm supposed to be. I am a light in a world of darkness and they hate me because I shine on their wicked ways and expose them. But while I am here, in this world, that is my duty.

" I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through the word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me and I in You; ; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that you sent Me."

I must remind myself of these words. That there is hope for them. They sin and love it because they know not what they do. I am an instrument of my God, that he might use me to bring them to salvation. I have a hope and a purpose but I must remind myself of these words...always.
